	Dear Friends, The Conquer for Kaya 3rd Annual Charity Golf Tournament on September 22, 2008 was a great triumph! With your support we raised over $36,000 so far this year (donations continue to come in)! All of this money will go directly to research to find a cure for Chiari and Syringomyelia. So people, like our precious Kaya, can lead normal and pain-free lives. We could not be more grateful and excited about the funds raised and the fun we had at this year’s event. The delicious dinner was, once again, donated by our very good friends at Scenic Loop Café. We were honored once again to have Speedway Erection Co. and Urban Concrete sponsor this tournament and San Antonio Jewelry for donating a beautiful watch. With a special thanks to EDP Concrete, Laubach Tile, and Ridout, Barrett, & Associates for their generosity. We would like to thank all of our sponsors and all of the golfers, and those who came to enjoy dinner and shop. The plans for the 4th Annual tournament have already begun and we hope to make it bigger, better, and more fun that all previous golf tournaments. YOU have played a big part in making a difference in the LIVES of those afflicted by Chiari and Syringomyelia and we thank God for all of these blessings! Dear Friends, We would like to thank you for your support of The Second Annual Conquer For Kaya Golf Tournament. We reached our goal of $35,000 and without your help this would not have been possible. Since Chiari and Syringomyelia are not so common we need all the research possible, so Kaya and other Chiarians (as they call themselves) can lead normal lives like the rest of us, without headaches all the time or in wheelchairs. Kaya had surgery for her Syringomyelia on September 4^th (8 days after the tournament). This was her third surgery since she was diagnosed June 2006. We pray it is her last, but can not be sure. The “Conquer for Kaya” foundation is set up and we are in the process of getting our 501- C3 exemption. Our directors for the foundation are Debbie and Angela Culver, Lana Zamzow, Dana Sorbel, and Joan Zezula. I would like to thank these ladies along with, Doris, Donna, Judy, and Brenda for all their help at the tournament. I couldn’t do it with out them. 	August 31, 2006 We are so excited to see the success of the 1st Annual Conquer for Kaya Charity Golf Tournament and it would not have been possible without you! The current total raised stands at $30,000 and donations continue to come in! This money will benefit the research of Chiari and Syringomyelia (C&S) as well as patient education and support. Our hope is to increase the awareness, find a cure for these conditions and eliminate the suffering of those who are afflicted with these disorders. Our deepest gratitude goes to all our sponsors and a special thanks to Scenic Loop Cafe for donating the delicious dinner, to those who volunteered with their time and talents, and to the golfers who braved the heat and made this a successful event to conquer C&S for Kaya and others like her!
